![IIBA vs PMI]()
In an earlier post I mentioned an email that I had received from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) about the Project Manager Institute’s (PMI) new Business Analysis certification.
Vicki James has done a comparison of the two offerings: PMI-PBA and CBAP/CCBA Side by Side.

Also…Jenny Boronyak, from enfocus has written a post making the comparison between the two: PMI-PBA vs. IIBA’s CBAP

Hi Mark – thanks for sharing Vicki’s helpful comparison of application requirements, knowledge and roles, as well as her important point to “keep in mind is that this new PMI-PBA certification has been undertaken to support program and project managers, so it is project and program-focused.”
Also, congratulations on your blog being named one of the top records and information management blogs of 2014 (details here: http://recordsmanagement.tab.com/records-management-2/top-records-and-information-management-blogs-part-3/). Cheers!
Hi Ross
Thanks! Glad to share. (And very sorry for the late response – I’ve had problems with WordPress.)
